| Hey guys! Monica found 6 amazing songs for the fashion show! These are perfect for our show, and some of them have even appeared on the Anna Sui's Fashion show, and Chanel's. So, here they are!
1. Hot Chip "Over and Over" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHB9F8tvGVM&playnext=1&playnext_from=QL
2. Hercules and Love affair "Blind" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb8S51M2GAc&feature=quicklist&playnext=2&playnext_from=QL
3. MSTRKRFT "Easy Love" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEfKBEWGQwg&feature=quicklist
4. Goldfrap "Strict Machine" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2VktozqkSc&feature=quicklist
5. Christina Aguilera "Lady Marmelade" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29EnyqVPpAc&feature=quicklist
6. Timbaland "The way I are" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWg3IMN_rhU&feature=quicklist
MY OPINION: These are all great. Personally, my favorite is "Easy Love" by MSTRKRFT but anyway... As Monica said, Hot chip has been used for the Anna Sui's fashion show, and the second has been used for the Chanel's fashion show. Then we know they are great fur the runway.
Lady marmelade is popular and could fit for Paris! "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir"... It has enough beat, in plus. The way I are is more "easygoing", casual and relaxed. It think it could work out.
So, what's your point of vue?
I found another tune that could fit. Here is the link. Lol I really like this tune and it has a good beat so... 7. t.A.t.U "Malchik Gay" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuVfMOnOW-o
It could fit for every parts. London, Paris or Rome... Anyway!
>> PUBLISH ALL THE MUSICS THAT YOU'VE FOUND HERE!
A huge THANK YOU to Monica! Jay! |

| | I relly like all those musics ! They are great ! But, if we take those one, we'll have to mix some of them 'cause they are too fast too walk on them to the beat. I'll check if I have some music too. |

| The music speed doesn't matter. I watched a lot of fashion shows on youtube and some designers used classical music! The steps doesn't have to be on the beat (yes I know it sounds weird but still...)
This is a song named "Army of Love" sang by Melissa Mars. It will fit for the Paris part because it's a french song! And plus, it has a certain beat. Not too fast, not too slow. Nicole Miller used it for her fashion show.

This one has been used for another fashion show I don't remember...
Combat Baby: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH0UDwlnJWw&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fmrwilsondj.com%2F&feature=player_embedded
As you can see on the video: It was for a show lol... I will post later because I have a lot of ideas and musics!!!
Now what we will need is actually a person that will be able to mix these songs! Because we won't wait until the end of each song. It has to be mixed and ready to use! If someone is able to do this, he/she is welcome!!!!
EDIT: I found this tune that has been used for another Nicole Miller show. Good time by Brazilian Girls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQM5TZqoaUE << This one could be great for the London part too... It sounds "street" and the lyrics go well with the London vision. |

| Three more musics!
I talked to a designer I know, and she gave me Ideas and directives.
For London: A tune that everyone knows, or probably. This is a good Idea. She said that Franz Ferdinand is a good artist we could use for runway. Here is Take me out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_9GR9kdZ3o Cheep and cheerful by The kills: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6wUPCqwWI8&feature=quicklist
For Paris In one of her fashion show, she said that she used some Edith Piaff songs. I found some that could be interesting but i'm not sure so I'll just say that we "could" use Edith Piaff. The designer said that it sounded perfect for her fashion show when they used it.
For Rome As I said to her, we want something easygoing and relaxed. Then she came with Kelley Polar - Sea of Sine Waves.... First, I found it weird for a Fashion show but finally: It is such a good idea! Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF3YeoMG83U&feature=quicklist . The beat comes later, but he does!
What do you think? |
